His early digital effects career actually started in the 80's when he worked at Atari designing and programming video games. From video games he joined Robert Abel & Associates, an award winning founder of the 3D animation industry. After the closing of Robert Abel and Associates Steve partnered with Steven Sidley to establish Sidley Wright & Associates, a computer animation studio in Hollywood for seven years. It was there that Steve purchased three Pixar P2 compositing computer systems and mastered the art and science of digital compositing. From there he joined Kodak's Cinesite, a world leader first in feature film compositing then in Digital Intermediate. Joining Cinesite as a Senior Compositor, his command of the technology won him a promotion to 2D Technical Director. Click here to see Steve's Resume page.
